Granada schools offer additional English classes for kids

There's been big talk in Spain about taking elementary schools in a bilingual direction. But most of that buzz has revolved around the private institutions. In an attempt to provide the same opportunities for all children regardless of where they are enrolled, 45 public schools in Granada province will offer extracurricular English courses for 6- to 8-year-old children. The classes will provide language reinforcement and ideally offer children who attend public schools the same advantages as those who attend bilingual ones.
