Acampada Granada

The elections have come and gone but the acampada in Granada and the #Spanish revolution continues.
This was not just a few radicals looking for their 5 minutes of fame. This is a revolution and a movement that has sprung from the bottom up. In tehr sense there are not recognised not "leaders" driving the movement, rather anybody can join it and everybody is welcome to add their own ideas and the revolution has been growing on a general consesus basis.
The assembly meets every night at 8pm in the Plaza de Carmen outside of the Town Hall and discusses new ideas and how to move the revolution forward.
They have also now created there own treasury that takes care of all finances in an open and democratic way (discussed everyday at 12:00). The assembley also spreads the words and are having regular conferences in various locations around different University campuses as well as parks and neighbourhoods around the city.
Everyday numerous other events are being organised such as music and art workshops and plaza del Carmen remains a hive of activity at all hours throughout the day.
The Acampada Granada remain in touch and in 24 hour contact via social media with the larger "democracia real ya" movement that has taken to the plazas throughut Spain.
Nobody expected it but the Spanish revolution looks set to continue.
