“Ciudadanía Joven,” promotes awareness of human rights issues through a series of activities in April.

Between the 9^th and 15^th of April, various venues in Granada will be hosting lectures, performances, music, creative workshops, and exhibits courtesy of an youth outreach program of the Granada town council. Some highlights include the “human library,” at the Palacio de Congresos, where visitors can “borrow” a number of people for a brief chat about their life experiences with immigration, unemployment, and prejudice. Brazilian drumming group Sambiosis Batucada will also be performing in the streets of Granada on the 10^th. With a variety of cultural events from rock and roll with Gran Wyoming y Los Insolventes to a Cabaret TV performance of urban art with Animasur Teatro Urbano, Ciudadanía Joven week promises to be exciting and educational.
