Crowd trouble at Los Carmenes

Barrier collapses as fans crush forward to celebrate last gasp winner!!
One of the protective barriers in the terrace behind the goal at Los Carmenes collapsed as fans surged forward to celebrate Granada CF scoring a very late winner in their 2-1 home victory over Recreativo to move them into the Play-off spot as they complete the first half of the season.
Thankfully there was only very light injuries suffered by a couple of the Rojiblanco Hinchas as the ectasy at the winning goal, resulted in a forward surge and the barrier collapsed right behind the goal and some die hard fans litterally fell to the feet of their idols.
While it did make for quite worrying viewing it has been revealed that while a few fans were treated on site by paramedics there were no serious injuries.

Granada still have a game in hand over the contenders for the play offs, that game is to be played this Wednesday evening away to Tenerife. It will complete the first half of the season with Granada guarenteed to be in a play off position after the opening 21 games of the season. But things remain very tight as just 2 points seperate 4th to 9th position in the Liga Adelante.
Next week is one of the biggest games of the season as the Rojiblancos take on the league leaders Real Betis, who suffered a shock defeat this weekend to the young boys of Villareal B.
