Josh Swartzberg presents his Granada based documentary "Viaje al Duende" Friday 3rd Of Feb. @ Peña la Plateria
Swartzberg goes on a quest in search of the "duende" that can sometime be found in Flamenco. He goes right to the heart of traditional flamenco in Andalucía to find what it is that they call "Duende."
Inspired by musicians from his hometown of Santa Fe, New Mexico, American Josh Swartzberg travels to Spain looking for the essence of pure flamenco. Submerging himself in to this world and crossing Spain, luck accompanies him as he meets great artists that surpass his own expectations.
The major part of this documentary are performances in the streets and homes of these artists. It is also a personal look in to their artistic lives, family tradition in flamenco, the survival of this ancient culture and those magical creative moments they call "Duende".The Premiere showing of this movie is happening this Friday in Granada at 21:30.
Entry is free, but places are limited and it will fill early.
