The Tongue is a Drum
-
An exclusive and swinging poetry performance in bilingual version with accompanying drums and writing workshop.
Saturday 6th August, at La casa con libros, La Zubia (Granada), at 9.30pm:
"The Tongue is a Drum"/"La lengua es un tambor". The award winning Jamaican poet Opal Palmer Adisa, editor of "The Caribbean Writer" and "Caribbean Erotic" and author of "I Name Me Name" will give an exclusive and swinging poetry performance in bilingual version (Spanish verses run by Elisa Serna) with accompanying drums by the Women's Musical Association Bembé Batucada from Granada.
Verses that grow between the sugar cane fields and the Caribbean breeze. Not to miss.
On Sunday, same place, the author will lead a writing workshop under the title "Writing Erotica". For more info: sernamartinezelisa@gmail.com
